Derived from a citizen report, municipal agents of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) detained an individual in the Guanos colony, accused of alleged attempted injuries to two minors. The mother of both girls requested the intervention of the officers to proceed legally.

According to information from the SSPC, agents assigned to the Mixed Intervention and Reaction Unit (UMIR) were requested on Jaime Sordo Street in the aforementioned neighborhood, since a group of people were holding a subject who was being accused of injuries to two minors.

Upon arriving at the scene, the agents interviewed a citizen who indicated that moments before, she was walking with her daughters on Ayuntamiento Street when they crossed paths with the accused, at that moment she realized that The man lunged at his daughter with a sharp objectbreaking a balloon that the minor was bringing with her and in the same action he allegedly hit the other minor.

The SSPC added that the citizen observed that the man was carrying a knife in his hand, so Fearing for his safety, he requested support from neighbors in the area.who called the officers, who detained José Bartolo “N”, 33 years old, confiscating a knife with a brown wooden handle measuring 11.5 centimeters and an 8.5 centimeter metal blade.

Finally, the accused was taken to the area of Civic Justice for a medical certification and was subsequently placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office where responsibilities will be determined.
