ENNUI

Work by Barbs Arenas

“What happens when the hours go by? You may feel bored on a road trip, spend hours on social media, think there is nothing to do, feel without energy and without any motivation. But, believe it or not, when you get bored, a lot happens. Boredom provides us with mental space for the emergence of original ideas. “It unleashes the imagination and unleashes creativity.”

HAPPINESS

Work by Daniela García

“Joy teaches us the importance of maintaining a positive attitude towards life, even in the most difficult moments. It shows us that it is normal to feel sadness, anger, fear or disgust, but that we can always find a way to overcome those emotions and feel happy again. Through the colors that make up the character in the film, this work represents the deep happiness that fills us with energy and makes us feel good. The shapes used represent the balls of memories and sparks that make up the interior, and, therefore, Riley’s character.”

ANXIETY

Work by Barbs Arenas

“Sweating, insomnia, thousands of questions in your head and not stopping thinking about what will happen in the future… Your body is screaming at you, are you willing to listen to it?”

Artwork by Jim Vlad

“Displeasure is a feeling that helps us define our way of being, being selective in our tastes, leading us to frown at what we dislike and even to stick out our tongue as a form of repudiation.”

ENVY

Work by Karlo Arnauda

“Envy is not a defect; It is an emotion that tells you that you are alive. Although it is not pleasant, balance must be found, since it is something that we all experience at some point in our lives. “Work hand in hand with envy, find balance and create art with those emotions.”

RAGE

Work by Carolina DM

“Anger is an overwhelming feeling that arises from within, causing sensations of confinement and heat in the body. It can leave us speechless and lead to dark thoughts and impulsive actions. After experiencing it, you feel a sensation of calm, as if the smoke of a volcano cleared the mind and body, manifesting with the intensity of fire.”

SADNESS

Work by Sofía Núñez

“Sadness is a fluctuating emotion, like ocean waves and emotional ups and downs. Represented by clouds and sun, it is fleeting but an essential part of the human experience, like a withered but vital flower.”

SHAME

Work by Tania Caro Silva

“”Where am I hiding? What a pity! In front of other people’s eyes… I FEEL GIANT!, thought mini Tan. ‘Mini Tan’ is a representation of the shame that traps many of us during childhood. An emotion that oppresses us, limits us and from which we believe we can only escape if we disappear.”
