A 25-year-old young man was murdered with a firearm in southern Tolima last weekend.
The crime
A 25-year-old man, identified as Wilmer Prada Morales, known among his friends as ‘Car’was attacked with a firearm at approximately 10:00 pm last Sunday, June 16, in the El Rocío neighborhood of Chaparral. Due to the severity of the injuries, The young man lost his life at the scene of the crime.

Some residents of the neighborhood indicated that that night They heard the shots, but did not come out to verify what happened out of fear.. However, minutes later the authorities arrived to carry out urgent measures and transfer the body. The police are working to find those responsible for the crime.
It was established unofficially that Prada Morales had a wife and was the father of two minors.

He Captain Diego Montoya, commander (e) of the Chaparral Police District, He provided details about this fact: “The Tolima Police Department is pleased to report that in the last few hours in the Rocío neighborhood, in the upper part of the municipality of Chaparral, he was injured with impact of a firearm on a 25-year-old male person, who lost his life at the scene due to the severity of the injuries, with our personnel from the criminal investigation section, Sijin, carrying out the urgent actions.”
