Four police officers were brutally attacked by a group of young people who refused to leave the “juntada” on the edge of Route 14, at the northern entrance to the town of Virasoro, in Corrientes: they had been denounced for starring disturbances while drunk and listening to loud music.
The images taken from a cell phone of one of the meeting participants speak for themselves: kicks, punches and even rebencazos in a dispute that is difficult to explain. So far, there are only two detainees and four police officers were injured.
The altercation took place on Route 14, at kilometer 750, in the “Cerro Verde” area, meters from the entrance to the Virasoro town. It was this Sunday morning when the police car arrived at the scene to end the “party” of a group of young people who had been reported by local residents for carrying out incidents while intoxicated and for “listen to music at high volume“.
But when the agents wanted to end the party, the young people responded with a brutal attack. Insults, pushing, kicking, hitting, agents on the floor and even rebencazos They completed the sad scene filmed by one of the young women who participated in the meeting.
As reported by the Época Newspaper, four agents from the 2nd Police Station, three men and one woman, suffered minor injuries. And at least eight of the young people participated directly in the brutal attack.

After the resistance of the young people in leaving the place and outnumbering the police officers, the police station personnel decided to leave and go to the hospital to be treated. In any case, the complaint was made and an arrest warrant was issued for five of the attackers who were identified.
During this Sunday night, the Police detained two of those involved and this Monday they sought to find the remaining three. It is not ruled out that as the hours go by, there will be more arrests of young people involved in the savage attack.
