The young people of the Martiano Youth Movement took their enthusiasm to the municipality of Urbano Noris, where they shared with the inhabitants of Travesía and paid tribute to José Martí at the monument that remembers his time in Holguin lands.
Guided by Yaselis Sánchez, secretary of the Party’s core in the community, they visited homes to give reading materials and drawings to the children, thus promoting their creativity and learning. Health promotion activities, rapid HIV tests and donations of the latest titles published by Ediciones La Luz were carried out.
After the day of activities, the participants had the opportunity to recreate in the Cauto River, where they shared with other young people from the town, creating a festive and lively atmosphere.
“This Martian Guerrilla is a mechanism that the Youth Movement will use all summer to socialize the Apostle’s thoughts and give young people the opportunity to contribute to the formation of an increasingly educated and united society,” said Elaine Cruz Cobas, president. of the Martiano Club “Con la Honda de David”, of the University of Medical Sciences in Holguín.
The youth presence in this initiative reflects their commitment to Martí’s ideals and their willingness to contribute to the spiritual healing of the nation.
