Millionaires could be reinforced with an old acquaintance: this is known

Although Millonarios went on vacation, the boards are looking for options to reinforce and although names such as Falcao García or Jhon Emerson Córdoba from Atlético Bucaramanga have been known, it still does not seem clear that they will arrive at the club.

To this is now added the possibility of an old known as the steering wheel Rafael Carrascal, who is currently in Cerro Porteño and has been in the Paraguayan team since 2021, but from Guaraní soil, it has been reported that the player would be in the ambassador’s plans.

Although it is a rumor in the Paraguayan press, there is no certainty that the player has had contact with Millonarios and according to journalist César Augusto Londoño on Caracol Radio, nothing is known about that approach.

However, he did make it clear that when Ricardo ‘Pitirri’ Salazar was in Millonarios, he told him that he liked that player a lot, but he never had the chance to have him again.

It should be remembered that Rafael Carrascal played for Millonarios in the 2016 season, he played 33 games, starting 20 times, but could not contribute goals. After that experience, he went to Junior, Deportes Tolima, América de Cali and then arrived at Cerro Porteño.

So far in 2024, Rafael Carrascal has played a total of 18 games with Cerro Porteño in all competitions, scoring two goals and an assist, although in the last four games he has been a substitute and has not seen any minutes.
