National Athletic is getting ready for what will be the second semester of the Betplay League. The purslane team knows that it has the obligation to make a splash in the local championship and that is why it is already working on its preseason. The Paisas confirmed their first preseason tournament.
After being left out of the Betplay League home runs, the Antioquia team was looking for options to face top-level teams in the preseason. For this reason, in the last few hours it was confirmed that the greens will play against four of the most important teams in South America.
The painting directed by Pablo Repetto will play the Kings Cup in Lima. The Antioqueños will travel to Lima to measure themselves against Bolívar from La Paz, Sporting Cristal from Peru and Alianza Lima. The tournament is organized by the Balnquiazul club from the Peruvian capital and will be played at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, while the Copa América 2024 takes place in the United States.

According to information from the local press, the tournament will be between June 26 and 30. The system with which the friendly home run will be played has not yet been confirmed, but it will be the greens’ first challenge at an international level in the middle of the preseason.
With its participation in the friendly tournament on Inca soil, the club will be tested against two of the best teams in the neighboring country. However, the main challenge could be Bolivara cast that ranked first in its group Libertadores Cup which he shared with Flamengo, Millonarios and Palestino.
Nacional would remain on Peruvian soil until July 3 as part of its preseason. It should be remembered that the Paisa team will not play in Medellín during the first part of the season due to the Women’s U-20 World Cup. For this reason, the Antioqueños will play in Manizales during the initial dates of the league.

Beyond the dispute of the friendly tournament, Nacional hopes to resolve its agenda regarding transfers in the following weeks. The club hopes to close the arrivals of David Ospina and Jorman Campuzano which are their main objectives in the transfer market.
