Within the framework of 462° anniversary of the founding of the city of San Juan, the municipality of Rivadavia announces the launch of the short film contest “The Window of Cuyo”an initiative aimed at encouraging the creativity of young people and highlighting the rich cultural heritage of San Juan.
Organized by the Directorate of Education, Employment and Youth, This contest invites young people from San Juan up to 20 years to express their vision of the history and present of San Juan through short films of up to three minutes in length. The call focuses on two main themes:
The historical event of June 13, 1562: A space to explore and reinterpret this significant event in the history of San Juan.
The themes of the contest:
– The historical event of June 13, 1562.
– What is San Juan today? Its places, customs, its people, etc.
The requirements are to be between 16 and 20 years old and reside in San Juan and you can win important prizes linked to audiovisual production:
– 1st Prize: Cell phone stabilizer with light and microphone.
– 2nd Prize: Light ring with cell phone holder.
– 3rd Prize: Light ring with cell phone holder.
